Jerry Tennant, MD

Jerry Tennant, MD, an ophthalmologist trained at Harvard and Southwestern Medical Schools, pioneered the use of viscous viscoelastic fluids in cataract and laser refractive surgery during the 1980s, dramatically improving precision and safety—techniques now standard worldwide.
While performing high-volume surgeries, he was exposed to viral shedding from patients, leading to a near-fatal illness that triggered chronic fatigue, encephalitis, and cognitive decline, forcing him to retire at age 55.
 
Conventional medicine offered no cure. Through self-experimentation, Dr. Tennant discovered that restoring cellular voltage (via electron donation, pH balance, and magnetic fields) reversed his symptoms. This breakthrough became the foundation of his book Healing is Voltage, where he argues that chronic disease begins when cells lose their ability to maintain -25 mV transmembrane potential—a holistic framework integrating biophysics, nutrition, and energy medicine into clinical practice.

 
Jerry was my original mentor in Microcurrent therapy. A couple decades ago, he taught me how to use the SCENAR technology. SCENAR stands for Self Controlled Neuro Adaptive Regulator. It was originally developed to treat Cosmonauts in the Russian space program, since drugs cannot be used in space medicine. With one small hand-held device replacing a large pharmacy that would poison the recycled water supply if ever used, microcurrent can be used to efficiently heal any health challenge. 
 

For many years during the Cold War, the microcurrent biofeedback technology was only seen by those in the West when Russian athletes were injured in Olympic competition. They would be observed using the little hand-held healing device and be back in competition at remarkable speed.
