G.N. Getman, O.D., D.O.S.

Dr. Gerry Getman was a luminary in the development of Behavioral Optometry, now also known as Developmental Optometry and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation.

You can listen to Dr. Getman speak in his own voice about the visual stress effects of video games noted even back in the early days of Pac Man.

I feel honored and blessed to have met Dr. Getman, as well as to have interned in the office of his chief counterpoint in the early debate on the potential effects of video games, Dr. Donald Getz

Among his many writings are the books How to Develop Your Child's Intelligence, and Developmental Optometry.
