In 1675, Sir Isaac Newton famously said, "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." He was restating a metaphor for seeing ourselves as dwarves standing on the shoulders of intellectual giants, attributed to the Philosopher Bernard of Chartres. The original Latin phrase was "nani gigantum humeris insidentes."
My mission with Mentorship University is to guide you to some of the giants who have helped me to see further. I have many more on my list whom I deem worthy to add to this site as time permits. I believe in full disclosure of methods and acknowledgement of sources.
I believe that an open source community will ultimately progress much further and faster toward our common goals than one divided by an emphasis on competition between proprietary approaches which are in a sense ultimately occult (hidden) in nature. The truth will set us all free in ways we can hardly begin to contemplate until our minds are more free...
I know that most of the profound insights I have gained in studying and contemplating the thoughts and observations of the giants introduced on these pages were never even hinted at, let alone pointed to, in my wonderful academic studies which earned me degrees in the basic sciences, vision science, natural medicine, and theology. Yet, I live with earnest gratitude for those four degrees, as they were building blocks that allowed me to reach so many great shoulders...
I pray that you, too, will always continue to question, and to seek the truth. You will find its fractal gems everywhere, and the light reflected by each glistening facet, you will begin to envision its holographic unity.
I pray that the synthesis of these many sources into my Clinical Theory of Everything will also serve you as well as it serves me and my constituents. From it flows our Clinical Praxis and its protocols, with special mention due to Accelerted Self Healing and our Functional Formulations. I see these as foundational for the medicine of the future.
